Always get a 'perfect pinch' of salt

The type of clay and finish that makes this pottery allows it to absorb the moisture away from salt.
This simultaneously keeps the humidity inside the pot at a constant, so it retains the salt in an ideal condition.

【Handling Precautions】
● DO NOT use Direct fire ・ oven ・ microwave
● Salt pot is a vessel that uses the humidity control function that the pottery has, so please do not use it to preserve liquids and foods with high moisture.
● When washing a salt pot, wash with sodium bicarbonate or boiling water is recommended. When using detergent please note the scent transfer.
● To prevent mold and spots, please avoid wash and put on a long time. Also, please dry well before use.
● When using it in a place with high humidity, please note that salt may solidify. Also, please shake it occasionally to make it hard to consolidate salt.
● When immersed in water ・ hot water, it feels wet and discolored, but it is a feature of china clay ・ glaze (glaze), so there is no problem with quality.
● Salt crystals and minerals may come out on the surface or bottom of the pot, but this is not a problem as the ingredients of salt come out together when porous ceramics is humidified. It is proof that salt pot is functioning. If you are particularly concerned, please wipe with a cloth etc. Also please use rug etc.
● Black and white dots on the surface are not problematic in quality with the ingredients such as iron and silica required to keep the roughness and porosity of the clay.
